Vasantham Star Auditions
alrites ppl i went for vasatham star auditions yesterdae and guess wad??? I made it through the 1st round!! haha.. okay this is wad happen.. i reached mediacorp at around 9.50am.. den i wen der to fill in the application forms and stuff.. there were oni 20 ppl in the morning.. so we were the 1st batch to audition.. numbers 250-270.. i was 262.. at 10 they brought us in to a holding area which was near the canteen inside.. i was there alone at 1st.. then i made a few frends.. talked to them.. if nt i 'll b bored to death waiting there alone.. yea.. so we had to wait in the holding area awhile till the judges came.. (tamilans always late one! hmph) den we were hanging around in the canteen.. OUH the hosts were jay nesh and saravanan.. so when we were at the canteen jay nesh was going around tables and talkin to the contestants.. he came to our table and interviewed us.. he kept askin everyone "shruthinaa ennanu theriyuma?" n i was like.. ermm.. dunno.. haha.. ok so after we were been interviewed we were brought to the studio.. we were outside.. only one contestant were allowed in at a time so we couldn't see how they did.. so when the 1st guy went in.. saravanan was telling us how the auditions went on sat.. he said that the judges were not impressed at all.. out of 90 ppl onli 15 ppl gt in on sat.. he was saying that the judges are lookin for x-factor and the vasantham star quality.. so if we got through we would get a green card saying that we've made it through the next round..
so the 1st guy came out.. wifout the green card.. and then he was been interviewed.. he was saying something like it was too cold and he forgot the lyrics and stuff like that.. so the 2nd guy went in.. and while he was in sara asked so whu wants to warm up b4 goin in.. later wen u go in dun say that veri cold u forgot the lyrics n all.. haha.. den no one wanted to sing.. all like so dead liddat.. so i say lah... ok i'll sing.. den he say.. 'okay veri good!' wad song u singing.. den i was like.. en chella peru apple.. so he said ok.. come n sing.. so i sang.. not the whole song lah.. juz the 1st 4 lines.. den he said.. u sang veri well.. make sure u go in and sing liddat as well.. so contestants number 250-260 all sang n came.. out of there oni 3 ppl gt in.. then they were all asked to go off.. den 261 went in.. i was the next one.. when i was going in saravanan was also in the studio watching.. there were 4 judges.. chandramohan, the singer mohan, soundravalli and kalaiselvan.. so i wen in then we muz tell the song we are going to sing to the muscians 1st.. so i told him en chella peru apple.. den he asked me to sing so that he could find the key.. den he was like.. ermm.. u have any other song..? den i say dola dola.. den he was like.. ouhh ok.. den u sing that song 1st.. so i went to sing.. after singin that song.. the judges ask if i had any other song.. so i sang the en chella peru apple song.. after that.. it was time 4 the judges to comment and to say if they have passed me through the next round..

2nd judge mohan- u came and did your thing.. sang well have the quality to be vasantham star.. congrats..
3rd judge soundravalli- i'm sorry i'm not letting u into the next round cuz i dun like that dola dola song that u sang... personally i hate that song.. and i think that u should improve more.. (failed me..)
4th judge kalaiselvan- veri good voice for this kinda song, have the confidence and the personality and appealing to the crowd.. congrats..
so i got the green card since 3 of them passed me.. so i came out wif the card and sara interviewed me.. he was like congrats! u made it through.. but do u think it was fair wen the judge said that juz becuz she dean like the song she failed u.. den i tired to not sound so direct in front of the camera.. so i was like maybe she thought i chose the wrong song so she dean pass me.. den he was like.. no but she said that she dun like the song so she dean let u through.. then he asked me.. if she was here rite now in front of the camera wad will u say to her.. den i was like.. ahh.. wad de hack.. so i said "entha pattu ennaku pidichiruku, na entha pattu thaa paaduvain!" (which means i like this song so i will sing oni this song! haha) then he was like.. appaditha erukanum.. haha.. yea.. so he was also tellin me that u hava good voice and the personality.. yep.. so that's how it went for the 1st badge on sundae.. out of the 20 of us whu went in that morning.. oni 4 of us got through.. so they said that they will call me to tell me when's the next round.. yeah ppl.. so that's about all..
